La Herradura, in the province of Granada and on the Costa Tropical, is one of my favourite places to paddleboard any time of year, but it is particularly good in winter when you can often be alone on the water.
It’s a 20 minute drive from Nerja and under an hour from the city of Granada with great motorway connections to Malaga in the West and Almeria in the East.
The name ”La Herradura” means ”the horseshoe” in Spanish as this is the shape of the bay.
This video was shot on my DJI Mavic Mini and is the first I’ve made with it. It’s not perfect but I think it came out OK for a first attempt.
